Statement Of Faith

  1. We believe in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testament as verbally inspired of God and inerrant in the original writings and that they are of supreme and final authority in faith and life. (IITim 3:16 17; II Peter 1:21)
  2. We believe in God, eternally existing in three Persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Gen 1:1; John 1:1, 10:30, 4:24)
  3. We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and is true God and true Man. (Luke 1:35)
  4. We believe that man was created in the image of God, that he sinned and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death which is separation from God; that all human beings are born with sinful natures, and in case of those who reach the age of moral responsibility become sinners in thought, word and deed. (Romans 3:10-19; 5:12)
  5. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice and that all who believe in Him and justified on the ground of His shed blood alone. (Lev. 17:11; Rom. 5:6-9; II Cor 5:21; I Peter 1:18-19)
  6. We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord, in his ascension into heaven, and His present life there for us as High Priest and advocate. (John 20:1, 2, 9; Acts 1:9; I Tim 2:5; Heb 4:14-16; 7:25-27)
  7. We believe that all who receive the Lord Jesus Christ by faith are born again of the Holy Spirit, and thereby become children of God. (John 1:12-13; Gal.3:26; John 3:1-7)
  8. We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust and of the everlasting felicity of the saved and everlasting conscious punishment of the lost. (1 Cor 15:1; 1 Thess. 4:13-18; Matt. 25:46; Mark 9:42-43; Rev. 21:3-4, 8)
  9. We believe that the Holy Spirit is a Person who convicts the world of sin, and regenerates, baptizes, indwells, enlightens, and guides every believer in the Lord Jesus Christ (John 16:18; I Cor 3:16; 12:13)
  10. We believe in “that blessed hope” the personal pre-millennial, and imminent return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (Acts 1:11; I Thess. 4:13-18)
